What is a thermoweldable fabric?
It is a fabric that can adhere to the polypropylene core
while being processed in a Baycinco winding machine.
As you probably know, two different techniques are
used today to manufacture synthetic fur:
- a first technique consists in introducing pile fibers into a knitted base (knitted fur)
- a second technique in which the fur is obtained by weaving at the same time two different layers that will be separated
leaving a pile made up of yarns (double layer velvet, DLV).
All knitted fabrics are normally thermoweldable.
All the most important manufactuers are able to manufacture
thermoweldable DLV.
Sourcing thermoweldable fabrics is not an issue today and
these kinds of fabrics are no more expensive than the non thermoweldable ones.
Which kind of polypropylene tube has to be used in a Baycinco Winding machine?
Basic virgin polypropylene is a perfect core for rollers
and for our equipment. No need for special specifications.
Recycled Polypropylene can also be used in Baycinco machines?
It depends on the quality of the polypropylene. A test is
necessary to answer this question. Send us your recycled tubes and we will be
happy to give you an answer.
Which gas is normally used in your machines?
Butan-propane or metan or another mix normally called city gas.
Why does your equipment use water?
We need to cool down certain parts of our machine. Water is
the fluid used in the cooling system.
The machine should be connected to a circuit providing water at 13-15°C.
Which PLC brand do you use?
We use Omron PLCs. Other PLC can be provided with additional programmation costs.
Which Pneumatic equipment do you use?
Festo and SMC.
What about training the operator of the machine?
We can provide this service. Our technicians are available
for both start up the line and training your operator.
